Fans of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones are curious and excited about the news of a Jon Snow spinoff. Reports say that it is in early production and so this leaves the audience wondering what storyline the creators will follow.
While there are many plots that can be adapted directly from George R.R. Martin’s novels, some Reddit fans postulated their own suggestions and theories. Some fans are wondering if it will be a new story or not. Whatever direction the showrunners will head to, avid Game of Thrones fans have something in mind.
Jon Snow And The Wildlings
The wildlings that Jon Snow met beyond the wall have become one of his best allies. Since the White Walkers attacked, only a few survived, and they still showed loyalty to Jon. It would be a feasible idea to have him as the leader of the Free Folks.
Reddit fan mo_exe proposes, “Jon becoming the new King beyond the Wall and the wildling miniature version of the Game of Thrones. Maybe we even get a secondary story with Sansa and the relationship between the North and the wildlings.”
Bran Will Become The Mad King
Not everyone was pleased when Bran Stark was declared King of the Seven Kingdoms. But, things have been done, and now, in the spinoff Jon Snow series, fans expect the Three-Eyed Raven’s appearance.
Redditor L_E_F_T thinks, “Bran was actually possessed by the 3ER [Three-Eyed Raven] this entire time. The 3ER’s goal was to be king and rule Westeros. This becomes abundantly clear when Bran begins to lose his mind and rule like the Mad King did. This gives Bran’s storyline with the 3ER and his sudden desire to be king in the end make more sense and would give it some purpose.”
Introduce Val In The Series
Val is a wildling princess who never appeared in the Game of Thrones TV series. She was, however, present in the novels, so this is a great time to introduce her to the Jon Snow spinoff.
For Redditor STP_Scott, “Personally I’m hoping we see Val the wildling “princess.” No need to create an entirely new love interest when they have great chemistry at least in A Dance with Dragons.”
The Night King Will Return
Most of Jon Snow’s plot in the Game of Thrones series centered around his preparation for the coming of the army of the dead and the Night King. While these undead creatures have been extinguished, fans are still curious if there’s a chance they will come back.
