What Upcoming Steam Games Will Be Available to Purchase, and Why Should You Look At Purchasing Them?
Below will be a list of five different games that will be coming to Steam sometime in the future, whether they are recent or in a few months. If you are looking to expand your game library or are looking for a new set of games to play that you never thought about experiencing, then this is the perfect list for you.
Number 5: Nightingale, February 22, 2024
Are you a fan of fantasy horror games? Have you always had an interest in Victorian-era attire? Then there is good news, as Nightingale is the perfect upcoming Steam game for you. Even though this game will still be in early access once it releases on February 22nd, there will still be a lot of content for players to explore.
At the moment, players will be able to explore the dangerous Fae realms in which they will be tasked with the singular mission of surviving. Whether this means running throughout the lands with a weapon in one hand and an umbrella in the other or building yourself a massive base in which to keep yourself safe during the night.
There will always be plenty of options for players to choose from, as there are plenty of weapons, powers, customisation options, and enemies for you to hunt down and defeat as you explore the numerous realms that are laid out before you.
Along with the long adventure that is set before you, there is also the possibility to make some friends along the way. This is because gamers will be able to join up with their friends to try and tackle the battles that are laid out in front of them, and as they always say, friends make everything better.
Number 4: The First Descendant, 2024
Now, sadly, The First Descendant doesn’t have an officially set release date as it is still in development, but it is definitely a game to keep an eye on. If you have ever played games like Destiny, Warframe, and Outriders, then this is the perfect game for you, as it puts them all to shame.
At the moment, there isn’t a lot of information as to what we can expect from The First Descendant, as there has only been a small amount of information released by the developers. However, there was an open beta a good few months ago, and the reviews for that beta were astounding.
Each player will be able to select a specific character that has their own unique abilities, whether that be fire-based attacks, a tanky build, or being so fast no one can keep up. As you play as these characters, you won’t just have to rely on these different characters, as you will also have some trusty guns in your hands that you can use to kill the enemies that lurk within the wilds.
There are plenty of guns, locations, and characters to meet within The First Descendant, and if you are looking for a new experience rather than just playing Destiny over and over again, then this is the perfect opportunity for you once it releases.
Number 3: Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, 2024
After a long wait, gamers will finally be receiving the long-awaited sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, and it already looks absolutely amazing, even though it is still in development.
At the moment, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set for release sometime within 2024, as long as the game isn’t delayed. But so far, there is plenty to get excited for, as players will take on the role of a vampire as they explore the city of Seattle from a first-person perspective.
This is a rather interesting perspective, as players will take on the role of the player character rather than the original game’s over-the-shoulder perspective. Along with this new perspective, players will have a whole new combat system that focuses on vampire abilities and melee combat, but it looks so much more cinematic and gory than it did in the first game.
Number 2: Black Myth: Wukong, August 20th, 2024
Whether you are a fan of Chinese mythology or soul-like experiences, this game will be the perfect experience for you once it releases on Steam. As you explore through Black Myth: Wukong, which is inspired by the story of Journey to the West, which is a Chinese fantasy novel that was written back in 1592 and has been told through many different formats.
During this adventure, players will take on the role of Sun Wukong, more commonly known as The Monkey King, as he ventures through the west, taking on all manner of creatures of abomination from Chinese fantasy.
At the moment, there isn’t a lot of information revealed about Black Myth: Wukong except for the trailers that have been released, but from the look of these trailers, players will be able to explore what seems to be a rather linear path as they utilise The Monkey Kings most commonly known weapon, his magically expanding bo staff.
Along with his special weapon, players will be able to use his multiple abilities, just like his ability to clone himself, grow in size, see all truths, and many more. This will make this a rather interesting experience, as there will be a lot for players to see and explore in this game, but there will also be many dangers to face.
Number 1: Dragon’s Dogma 2, March 22nd, 2024
Here is another title that many gamers have been waiting nearly 12 long years for, as Dragon’s Dogma 2 finally has a release date of March 22nd of this year, and from the different trailers we have seen, it is totally worth looking at.
If you are a fan of fantasy games in which you create your own character, pick your own weapons, choose from plenty of spells, and murder dragons, then this is the perfect game for you. Throughout Dragon’s Dogma 2, you will take on the role of your character, the Arisen, as they explore the world, killing all sorts of monsters and meeting all kinds of unique characters.
So far, as we can see, this will be a rather interesting experience whether you have played the first game or not, but for those who have been waiting all these years for a sequel, then get ready for an amazing story and fantastic combat.
