Rap battles once used to be a huge part of the Hip Hop music industry. Historically those battles between the artists made a lot of sense and even played a massive role in turning the industry successful and entertaining. One of the most appreciated rap battles happened between 50 Cent and Diddy.
But shockingly, over the years, their relationship strained and somehow their feud went from rap battles to alleged beef between the artists. Exposing their tumultuous friendship to the limelight, 50 Cent once hinted at Diddy’s sexuality, by claiming that he makes the rap mogul feel uncomfortable.
50 Cent Lowkey Bashed Diddy’s Parties
Rap battles and diss tracks are quite common in the hip-hop industry. But the one between rap moguls Curtis Jackson, a.k.a. 50 Cent, and Sean “Diddy” Combs seems to be the most explosive yet confusing one, for fans. Bashing each other since the 2000s, the duo had developed a bittersweet friendship.
While 50 Cent never held back from disclosing how he really feels about Diddy, the latter often claimed he and Cent are completely cool. But this doesn’t shield them from the fact that they share a tumultuous friendship, where 50 Cent often bashes the rap mogul through his diss tracks and public interviews, at times.
During 50 Cent’s The Final Lap Tour, the rap mogul took their strained friendship to the next level when he opened up about why he no longer likes to attend Diddy‘s parties. Disclosing the fact that the rapper makes him feel extremely uncomfortable, Cent hinted at the rapper’s sexuality.
50 Cent Hinted at Diddy’s Sexuality
With The Daily Loud posting the video of 50 Cent on X, where he is heard discussing why he hates attending Diddy’s parties, the rapper hints at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sexuality.
“That’s why I don’t be going to no Puffy parties. N***a hug you from the front and back at the same time? … Look, if you into that, you into that. I’m fine with it. To each his own. I’m just saying, this isn’t my kind of motherf***ing kind of party.”
Further, another clip surfaced from the 2020 Drink Champs podcast via Instagram, where 50 Cent is heard explaining how Diddy offered to take him shopping and pay. But realizing that Diddy allegedly had ulterior motives, Cent turned down his offer. Later on, the rapper also made an impromptu wardrobe change during the Rolling Loud festival because he felt like Diddy from his late ’90s Shiny Suit Era videos.
“You know why I threw that jacket. It made me look like Puffy.” Cent shared via HipHopDX.
Feeling uncomfortable because of the way his wardrobe reminded him of Diddy, 50 Cent made headlines for changing his outfit. His words and actions during different interviews and podcasts almost implied that he feels silly around the rap mogul. But alluding that the rapper’s sexuality might not be completely heterosexual was a next level bashing from Cent.
