With an intimidating persona and a hatred for muggles, Depp’s portrayal as Gellert Grindelwald was a memorable work of art that is essentially unrivaled. The same persona (without the muggle-hatred) could be used to go up against John Wick in John Wick: Chapter 5.

This reason doesn’t need any proof to back it up. With a plethora of characters throughout his years, Johnny Depp has made people laugh, cry, and fear through his roles and characters. Portraying a variety of emotions, Johnny Depp is a versatile actor is really an understatement.
With several villains in the way of John Wick, the movie is in need of a unique villain. And who better to portray this role than our very own Captain Jack Sparrow?
3) The Actor Has Remarkable On-screen Chemistry
Well, his on-screen chemistry has been so good that every actor that he has ever worked with has nothing but praises for the actor (except one). Depp has never shared the screen with Keanu Reeves but when they do, it would be an apocalyptic event.

With the two worlds colliding it is an understatement to say that John Wick: Chapter 5 would ‘earn’ at the box office. An action-packed movie with nothing but music and headshots could go way ahead of its box office earnings if the villain is as iconic as Johnny Depp.
As far as several rumors state, the upcoming movie could be the end of the John Wick franchise, and what better way to end it than by earning millions of dollars at the global box office?

Keanu Reeves’ iconic character John Wick hasn’t died yet in the movies. Although the grave of Mr. Wick was indeed shown at the end of John Wick: Chapter 4, there are still speculations and theories that the character isn’t dead yet.
With Johnny Depp’s villain and Keanu Reeves’ Wick being face to face, the movie could end on a spectacularly high note. Since the stakes of each movie are ramped up higher and higher, the end could come down to Depp facing Reeves and ending the franchise Quentin Tarantino style!
