It seems that the official console version 1.0 of 7 Days to Die is not what players expected, and several details break the immersion of the game. Although the majority of the player community is enjoying the new version, some are complaining that zombies appear in the most unexpected places.

A Reddit user posted a lengthy complaint about how it doesn’t make sense for a zombie to appear on the roof and hide when most of them just roam around in the most generic way possible. According to this user, these kinds of things break the immersion of gameplay, and The Fun Pimps should address it.

Despite being an extremely popular title with millions of sales since its release in 2013, it took a long time to finally achieve the goal of officially launching version 1.0 and leaving early access.

7 Days to Die is a survival game in which the player must fight and explore a massive map, while dodging hordes and hordes of zombies, equipping themselves with the best possible weapons to eliminate the undead.

In a recent Reddit post, a user pointed out that, at least in their experience, they’re tired of finding zombies in the most unexpected places just to achieve a scare for the player.

Many of these zombies can’t even move correctly, and it doesn’t make sense for them to appear on the roof where there is no way to access it. For this player, it breaks the immersion, and The Fun Pimps should make some adjustments.

The Fun Pimps Should Listen to Their Community

The gamer clarified that this small detail won’t stop them from playing the game, but it would be beneficial if 7 Days to Die maintained a consistent line and respected it without trying to add senseless horror everywhere.

Many veteran players already know all the traps in this title and aren’t afraid to enter a new room that will surely be a trap. One of the positive aspects of these scares is that there’s probably some loot behind them that’s worth the trouble.

In general, the community doesn’t seem to understand the reason behind these scares that have no justification, but still, most players don’t have any problem with it.

However, those who are bothered believe The Fun Pimps, should make some adjustments to these scares that are much more frequent since the release of version 1.0. It seems users are quite fed up with receiving the same scares over and over again.

On their part, the game development team plans to release more significant content next year, including a story mode.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
