The premise was about finding a cure to help restore the world but throughout their journey, Joel restored his humanity at the cost of Ellie’s great purpose. The sequel romanticized the themes of violence and gore that led her to a dark path that would fuel her thirst for vengeance on those who wronged her loved ones.

Brad Pitt gave Saber Interactive a run for their money after featuring hordes of zombies on the big screen. The game is not directly connected to the film’s plot; however, the developers decided to use familiar locations and overwhelm a squad of players with the undead rushing toward them.

The game requires teamwork and coordination to accomplish certain objectives and is the perfect game to play with friends under the pressure of being overrun in minutes. Players can set up defenses and carry different weapons to help them stand a chance against the undead.

The Walking Dead franchise has been the face of the zombie genre and has dominated comic books and television screens. Telltale had a different approach and set each project within the comic book universe rather than the more popular live-action television series.

The games had unique art styles and unlike most zombie games, player choices dictate what happens next. The gaming community was heartbroken to see Lee die as Clementine left him to fulfill his dying wish of surviving in a world overrun by walkers.

Bend Studio got the short end of the stick after the game failed to meet Sony’s expectations. Director John Garvin claims that a Days Gone sequel would have been guaranteed if the game received more positive reviews at launch.

The game launched on the PlayStation 4 and failed to deliver a smooth experience with the trademark zombie horde feature. The developers patched the game and is now optimized for the PlayStation 5 and PC and players are having the time of their lives fighting a horde of freaks.
