Many of these players want to return to the previous system, where you could level up all attributes and didn’t have to search endlessly to find and improve specific skills. The studio should consider what the fans want. The majority of fans agree that this system is not working.

One of the biggest changes was the progression system, which is now completely different and has nothing to do with levelling up but rather finding specific things.

Many players are dissatisfied with this new system and argue on platforms like Reddit that the studio should revert to the old system. From the start, fans who have played the current game have complained that it is not well-designed.

The studio should try to implement both systems so that players can choose how they want to experience their game. Fans will continue to voice their complaints about this issue.

Several posts on Reddit have gained a lot of traction, discussing how this new progression system is not what was expected and that they prefer the old one.

7 Days to Die on consoles is a reality, and it will now be much more difficult to implement a change or revert this particular feature. Many veteran players know that the studio took its time with each change. Going back to the previous system will not be an easy task.

It appears that more players prefer the old system than the new one. The studio is currently concentrating on the upcoming updates for next year, which will significantly impact the overall game experience.

A large portion of the fans are also waiting for a graphical update because the game looks quite dated for the time. This game needs improvement, but the numbers are quite strong every day.

Meanwhile, 7 Days to Die continues to have a huge player community and is now awaiting the much-anticipated story mode, which is supposedly arriving in 2025. Gradually, users will get used to the changes and continue playing without issues.

Fans will have to wait and see if the studio responds to the fans’ complaints and comes up with a way to please the majority. The game maintains a high number of concurrent players on Steam.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
