Rising first to prominence and fame as a lead vocalist and a part-lyricist of one of the greatest English heavy metal bands that have ever been formed – Black Sabbath. Osbourne with his bandmates played a crucial role in shaping the genre, as his distinctive voice was one of the key reasons for the band’s massive success. Even after he parted ways with the band, his popularity was not affected at all, as he came up with songs like Crazy Train, Goodbye to Romance, Suicide Solution, and many more songs.
Apart from his music, Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne are one of the most enduring and unlikely romances in Hollywood history. The unlikely couple came together for their common love for music and she is heartbroken as she talks about the health condition of the No More Tears singer.
Sharon Osbourne Was Devasted While Describing Ozzy Osbourne’s Health Condition
During an exclusive interview with Daily Mail, Sharon Osbourne talked about her four-decade-long relationship with Ozzy Osbourne. She shared that she has spent the last five years taking care of him, as “He’s had seven operations in five years.” She explained how she has to be extremely careful while taking care of the blood thinners.
“He was on huge amounts of blood thinners so you have to be careful, because if you fall again you could bleed out. It’s like he’s a piece of china and you’ve got to put cotton wool around him.”
She added how heartbreaking it is for her to see how her beloved husband’s physical health has deteriorated and how it has affected his former vibrant personality.
“It’s just been heartbreaking for me to see my husband in a position where he’s not self-sufficient, he needs help. He was so vibrant, with such a zest for life. But you learn to adapt.”
While Sharon Osbourne was heartbroken to see Ozzy Osbourne in such a painful state, what happened is that the musician has undergone so many operations in such a short period of time.
Ozzy Osbourne’s Health is a Matter of Concern
Ozzy Osbourne underwent a plethora of surgeries and he underwent a final surgery on his neck in September, stating that he is not interested in having any more surgeries. These surgeries were a result of a fall in 2019 when he was also recovering from a bout of pneumonia. The fall led to the dislodging of the metal rods that were installed in his body followed by a fall from a quad bike in 2003. As a result of the fall, the Bark at the Moon singer hurt his back and neck again. But that’s not all as he has to take blood thinners as well due to blood clots in his legs.
But that’s not all in 2020, he was also diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Following his last surgery, Ozzy Osbourne’s son said in an exclusive interview with The Messenger, Jack Osbourne stated, “I don’t think he’ll tour again.” However, he gave a sigh of relief to the singer’s fans as he added that he would continue to do gigs and one-off shows.
“But he’s gunning to do one-off shows — like festivals, gigs, things like that. He’s not done yet.”
While it made the fans feel better, they are still worried about Osbourne’s health as he is 74 years old and has so many health concerns.
