On his Podcast, the Mr. Olympia winner talked about the legendary bodybuilder and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. While talking about the former governor of California, Cutler mentioned how the Fubar actor is a bigger Icon in Hollywood and Bodybuilding industry.

Jay Cutler says he hates to compare Arnold Schwarzenegger and The Rock

Cutler discussed Arnold Schwarzenegger’s influence on Hollywood and the bodybuilding profession a few months ago. IFBB pro refused to draw comparisons between Dwayne Johnson and the 75-year-old actor. The Predator star, according to the 49-year-old bodybuilder is a greater bodybuilding icon than The Rock. While talking about Schwarzenegger, Cutler said,

He always had a character he was playing, Kindergarten Cop, so his aura on the stage, like him walking through the expo, remember the crowds of people man. I hate to compare, but Dwayne Johnson a couple of years ago when he was the action guy, Arnold was bigger than that.” 

Many people agreed with Cutler’s statement and netizens said the former governor of California is definitely a legend and should not be compared to the Red Notice actor.

In the same podcast, the four-time Mr.Olympia winner explained why True Lies actor is still a big deal for the people who aspire to attain a career in bodybuilding. The 49-year-old bodybuilder also mentioned that he made people realize that there is nothing impossible, Cutler said,

He would always interview me, and say, ‘four-time Mr. Olympia,’ and what would I always say: [three-time Arnold Classic champion]. Yes, because listen, the Olympia is the elite right. There’s nothing bigger. I’m never going to disrespect that title but — I was very very proud to win the Arnold Classic. I mean Arnold – he inspired all of us right.”

He further added,

And he didn’t inspire us only on the stages because realistically, I didn’t get to see Arnold actually compete as much. From what I know, he won one of the Olympias with just [competing by] himself. No real competition. He won seven Olympias, but he was just one of those people that you talk about there’s no such thing as impossible, Arnold – I think was destined for proving that anything is possible.”

Even though Johnson is one of Hollywood’s most well-known personalities and everyone looks up to the 51-year-old actor, Schwarzenegger is credited for starting the bodybuilding fad. The Commando actor is still in excellent form and serves as a great example for many young people.
