While there were never sparks of romance between the two, Rupert Grint, who played the love interest in the films could not help but notice sparks of romance between her co-stars. During an interview with ET, Grint shared that “There was always something. There was a bit of a spark.” which made the fans fondly call the pair ‘Dramione’ based on their Harry Potter characters.

As the Knock At The Cabin actor continued the interview, he decided to explain his previous comment by sharing what he saw between them on the set of the movie, stating, “I don’t want to start anything…but we were kids. It was like any kind of playground romance.”

While Rupert Grint shared about a possible romance between his co-stars, fans have often wondered if anything romantic took place between the on-screen lovers, as they had spent a part of their lives dating in the films. Much to the disappointment of the fans, not took place between them, or in Grint’s words, “I didn’t have any sparks. I was spark-free.” This broke the heart of the Potterheads, as they wanted to see the couple dating in real life, but it was never meant to be.

Emma Watson Was Unaware Of Her Fame

Emma Watson was a massive name by the age of nine, her phenomenal performance in the first film put her in the spotlight, and her fame skyrocketed, as she was involved as the franchise moved forward with its story. However, during an exclusive interview with GQ, The Circle actress shared how she was not aware of her fame until the franchise came to an end in 2010.

“We made [the Harry Potter] films in this weird bubble. It’s only after the films ended, and I remember taking a trip out to LA and my agent saying, ‘You should really take some meetings, you should go and meet people.’ It was only then that it really dawned on me, and it was quite overwhelming when it did, but every single studio head of every big studio in Hollywood gave up their time and came and met me personally. I really didn’t understand that I had that kind of power. I genuinely didn’t.”

Even though it sounds surprising to some fans, Watson shared that she was unknown to her popularity as she lived a very isolated life, rarely went out by herself, and she met only with her co-stars to shoot the films.

“I lived this very sheltered life, where I’d have a chauffeur come and pick me up to take me to the studios. I’d only see this very specific group of people who I was doing these films with. I’d get back in my car and go home and do the same thing the next day.”

Emma Watson believes that one of the reasons she was kept in the dark about her fame was because her parents did not want to get the fame to her head, and wanted her to be a down-to-earth personality. Hence, this is the reason, the actress does not rely on her fame to bag her roles.
