The star was filming the Netflix movie, Back To Action with a long friend and co-star, Cameron Diaz, when he had a sudden incident that left him in a severely poor state. His daughter, Corinne Foxx has gone on to say that the actor is in recovery and getting better each day.

Despite this, however, the entire situation has been kept under wraps and there isn’t much that the public knows about this. Diaz herself is quite worried about Foxx’s health and well-being, despite a rumored fight between the two on set before his hospitalization.

A source revealed to People Magazine that Cameron Diaz is quite concerned about Jamie Foxx’s well-being. After the incident, filming continued for a few more days which they used a stand-in to replace Foxx and then wrapped up production. The source revealed that Diaz was very troubled by seeing her friend in this state.

The source mentioned that Diaz was “shocked and saddened by Jamie’s health crisis.” adding that she found it surreal that “one day they were working together, and the next he was just gone.” They went on to say that “She wanted to be supportive and help out in any way, but his family has kept his status very quiet,”

They added that she was very worried about him and was disturbed by the possibility that one minute, she was acting with him and the next, he was in the hospital. The source also mentioned that Diaz had been trying to be supportive of him and be there in any way that she could but Foxx’s family has made that quite difficult, being very secretive about his status.

Another source revealed that Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx were not getting along all too well on the set of Back to Action. It would seem that Foxx was being quite difficult to work with, being a nightmare on set. He was apparently having frequent outbursts and even fired four people, an executive producer, two directors, and his driver. They stated that the crew was getting frustrated and annoyed with his behavior and weren’t all too fond of him.

“You’d think he’d be thrilled he convinced her to be in his movie, but he hates that she is the center of attention.” Said the source, “Honestly, she is not sure what is going on with Back In Action and isn’t very proud of it, considering there was so much drama even before Jamie was hospitalized,”

The source also revealed that Diaz was facing the negative consequences of his actions as he was asserting his authority over everyone. They also added that despite Diaz joining the movie at Foxx’s request, the actor was very upset at the amount of attention the actress was receiving for her role, thinking that she took over his spotlight.
