Former stand-up comedian Kevin Hart has been climbing toward the top of the ladder of his career since his debut in the 2002 crime comedy, Paper Soldiers. Later, the actor appeared in several movies and television shows.

Hart has followed his comic avatar to the screen as well as established himself as a comic actor mostly appearing in action or adventure comedies which include Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Central Intelligence, or The Man from Toronto. The television shows he appeared in followed a somewhat similar stylistic approach. But before his cinematic presence, the actor has some funny incidents when he was a stand-up comedian.

When Someone Threw a Buffalo Wing at Kevin Hart’s Face

Kevin Hart once encountered this hilarious incident when he was gearing up to perform his comic act in a male strip club when a buffalo wing propelled through the air to hit his face. Being candid about the incident. Appearing in The Graham Norton Show, Hart recalled the hardship he went through being a comedian.

“The hardship that I went through his help, help build me into the person I am today right I can take so much but I’ve been through it all. I was I was hit in the face with a buffalo wings,” Hart said.

The actor further revealed that the venue was actually a male strip club temporarily shut down for his show. 

“It was It was a it was actually a male strip club they shut down for comedy for the first half. it was ladies in there and you know it’s just supposed to be us performing for these women that were riled up. First thing, I got on stage when they introduced me and as, they like ‘pull it out.’”

Hart responded saying, “Hey, that’s not me, I’m not here for that. I’m here to entertain with jokes.” When he tried to delve into the jokes he prepared on the materials of kids, one fan at the back shouted to him, “That’s enough” and he just threw “a buffalo wing at me,” Hart said adding that his face was filled with hot and spicy sauce.

The incident was indeed funny, the actor dwelled on memory lane recalling this hilarious event in the past.

What’s Kevin Hart Up To Now?

The actor has confirmed that he will star in the remake of the 1987 classic comedy Planes, Trains & Automobiles with Will Smith. He also revealed that the movie was in its very early stages. “Still writing! You’re talking about the remake for me and Will Smith? That’s what we’re working on!” Hart told ET Canada. “Excited to figure something out with my guy. Both from Philadelphia, we’ve yet to do anything and we’re just doing ourselves a disservice,” he added.

“So, trying to crack the code on this one. But, like anything else, you cannot do it until it’s right, and sometimes that takes time. Lots of drafts, lots of rewrites, lots of brainstorming. We’ll get it there, and when we do, it will be what it’s supposed to be, which is amazing.”

Hart and Smith are also set to produce the Paramount Pictures’ movie while, reportedly, Aeysha Carr is to write the screenplay. There’s no update on the release of the movie as of yet.

Hart is also all set to appear in Netflix’s 2024 F. Gary Gray-directed film Lift. In the heist movie, Hart will play Cyrus. The movie also stars Avatar actor Sam Worthington, Money Heist fame Úrsula Corberó, Spider-Man actor Jacob Batalon, Loki star Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Peaky Blinders alum Paul Anderson, and several other prominent actors.

Lift is set to come out on 12 January 2024, possibly being the first original film of the year to arrive on the platform.
