The much anticipated AAA game Starfield has been a work in progress for many years. The game was announced back in 2018 and is all set to release this year. With such a high-end game that would require every VRAM of your GPU, it seems that the system requirements are somewhat too high for this one.

With 1000 planets to explore and 10% of them containing life, Starfield has a file size of a whopping 125 GB! To run this game efficiently, AMD recently released the system requirements and the best components for maximum graphics. To build that PC, players would have to spend so much money that they could buy Xbox Series X three times over!

Starfield’s Legendary Settings Could Buy Xbox Series X 3 Times Over!

As per the reports, the maximum graphics quality that Starfield can give is the “Legendary” setting in the game. With a resolution of 2160p of 4K, the recent revelation of AMD’s processors and GPU that could support this game was revealed by AMD.

In an effort to promote itself and the game, AMD released the company’s components necessary to run the game at various levels of graphics. For 1080p gaming, one would need an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 with a RX 7600 GPU. For 1440p gaming (or 2K), players would need to get themselves an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X with a Radeon RX 6800 GPU.

And for the final setting of 4K gaming (nicknamed Legendary setting), AMD recommends buying an AMD 7 7800X3D, which costs around $469. Alongside the heavy processor, Starfield requires AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XT GPU which comes at a price of $899. In total, the two components required to run Starfield at Legendary settings would come down to a total sum of around $1400. Well, the Xbox Series X comes at a price of $499, so do the math.

With AMD partnering up with Starfield, PC gamers and Xbox gamers alike will get the benefit of a subscription service that Microsoft has been promoting for years. The Xbox Game Pass, which is a subscription service for games has a pretty sweet deal for the AAA game.

Microsoft has brought back the price of the Xbox Game Pass to $1 and the game will be available to play as soon as it launches. This essentially means that players will be able to play the game for a single dollar! There have been numerous hindrances for the launch of the Bethesda game with the console wars playing an important factor.

Being an Xbox exclusive, the game will only be available to play on Xbox Series X/S and PCs. Sadly for PlayStation gamers, they will have to wait and hope for their exclusives. Starfield is set for a release date of 6th September 2023 across the world.
