Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared for an interview in the year 2004 where he recalled the time when he saved a man from drowning in a peril. This incident took place in Maui, Hawaii. The Terminator actor saw a helpless man sinking and immediately asked him if he required help. While talking about the sinking stranger he met in Hawaii, the actor said,

“I realized the man was having trouble and I asked him if he was in trouble and he said he had cramps all over his body.”  

In another interview, the Predator actor mentioned that the man he was saving wasn’t in great physical shape. He also recalled the conversation he had with the stranger. While talking about the man, the former governor of California said,

“I set him on the beach and told him to relax a little because he was so out of shape. He told me that for two years he hadn’t done any exercise.”

Many people said that Schwarzenegger body shamed the man he saved from drowning by commenting on his physical shape. An eyewitness also claimed that the actor sat with the man and talked to him for a while as he was breathless.

The Twins actor also discussed a time when he lacked confidence in himself and believed his body wasn’t good enough. While recalling his past time the actor said,

“I never really was satisfied with my body, says Schwarzenegger. I looked in the mirror and said to myself, I don’t know how this shit body can ever win this competition.”

“ When I brag about myself, that’s all bullshit. It’s kind of like the other me I want the world to see. In reality, when I’m by myself, I look at it and I say to myself, It’s not there yet. It’s not happening. I think it’s the very thing that made me always be on the edge and always want more.”
