It’s 2023 and it’s time for fans to let go of that Snyderverse dream. Without a doubt, director Zack Snyder created some cinematic masterpieces, pushing boundaries and laying down the foundation for the future of the franchise. Zack Snyder’s “Snyderverse” kicked off with Man of Steel (2013), but due to some personal problems in Snyder’s life, the whole idea was interrupted and fans didn’t get to see Snyder’s vision.
In 2021, due to fan demand, Zack Snyder’s Justice League was released and fans loved it. However, The Flash has confirmed that the Snyderverse has officially come to an end. On top of that, the trailer of Zack Snyder’s Justice League was also removed from YouTube.

Warner Bros has confirmed that YouTube took down Zack Snyder‘s Justice League trailer because of a music licensing issue. The issue is yet to be resolved and it is still unclear how long it will take. Many fans on social media have been cooking up conspiracy theories claiming that this was intentionally done and DC is trying to erase Snyder’s work. Many claim that it’s been so long since the trailer has been up, and it’s quite suspicious that all of this is happening now.
Under James Gunn’s rule, it could be possible, however, as of now WB is trying to solve the problem and will get the trailer back up.
What was the “Snyderverse“?
The term “Snyderverse” was coined by DC fans to refer specifically to the creative vision and style that Zack Snyder brought to the franchise. His movies often explored more complex and darker themes while diving into the minds of the DC characters.
Zack Snyder couldn’t lay out the Snyderverse as he originally intended. Due to his personal tragedy, he had to leave Justice League and under Joss Whedon’s guidance, the movie ended up being something that was not liked by many fans. The vision was interrupted, leading to its end.
The Snyderverse is finished
The Flash has confirmed that the Snyderverse is officially finished and it’s time for some fans to let go. Zack Snyder’s 2013 movie Man of Steel and 2016 movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice received mixed reviews from the audience as not everyone liked the different approach. So, obviously, DC had to make some changes.
Now, with Snyder out of the picture, James Gunn’s new DC will cater to a wider audience. Leaving behind Snyder’s vision, the movies are now more light-hearted.
