An imprisoned steroid distributor named Richard Rodriguez proceeded to call out the Pain & Gain actor on his lies. Stating that Wahlberg was a client, Rodriguez recalled that the actor used to get creative with ways to ship and had several different aliases!

Mark Wahlberg Was An Alleged Steroid User?

While being imprisoned, Richard Rodriguez stated that notable actor Mark Wahlberg always bought steroids and/or physique-enhancing drugs from him. Rodriguez further revealed that Wahlberg used to get quite creative while shipping these items.

In an interview with documentary filmmaker Johnny Bravo, Richard Rodriguez claimed that Mark Wahlberg was a regular client of steroids. As per Rodriguez, the Uncharted actor would often use aliases and false identities to bring the package to a particular spot from where it would get delivered to him!

“Oftentimes [Wahlberg] used to get creative with ways to ship the particular products to certain countries and areas where you can receive the products, not necessarily under his name, under a doctor’s name, or a female’s name,”

The convicted criminal further revealed that when Wahlberg started getting more demanding, he chose to sever ties with the actor.

“When you’re dealing with celebrities you unfortunately have to be very accommodating. [Wahlberg] started to become a little bit more demanding. Once I started seeing his true colors, I chose to separate, sever my ties.”

Richard Rodriguez did not stop there, he went on to add Roman Reigns to his list of steroid clients and actor Josh Duhamel.

Naturally, Wahlberg proceed to speak to The Wrap via a publicist and stated that “These accusations are completely false.” As per the reports, Richard Rodriguez had 50 clients in the Eastern District of New York, who amassed a wealth of over $10 million in illegal steroids.

The allegations were brought to a closure and Mark Wahlberg went on to star in movies and series as usual. The actor was last seen sharing the screen with Kevin Hart in the 2022 movie Me Time but is also attached to 5 other upcoming projects currently in various stages of development.
