Brad Pitt runs a funny analogy with Tom Cruise’s death-defying stunts

Both Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise are extremely dedicated to the material they’re provided and don’t pull any punches when it comes to delivering their best shot. But there is one department where Cruise surpasses the Seven star- action, as the 61-year-old has cemented himself as one of the biggest action stars in Hollywood. Although Brad Pitt might not indulge himself in death-defying action sequences and is more focused on tackling character-driven roles, Pitt has had his fair share of stunts in his decades-long career.

Following his presence in The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Pitt recalled the moment when he had to pour apple sauce on his neck to garner the love and affection from Pitbull in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. Joking about the matter, the actor did run an analogy between the Pitbull sequence and Cruise’s death-defying stunts, claiming he “don’t know who’s braver”. He said,

“Tom Cruise, my friend, will tie himself to the side of an airplane and it will take off and land, I put apple sauce on my neck so a pitbull would give me love and affection. I don’t know who’s braver,”

But despite the enormous scale Tom Cruise reaches to deliver perfection, the adorable scene where Cliff Booth’s Pitbull is showcasing his affection remains as satisfying as witnessing Cruise’s magnificent stunts.
