The star humorously stated his openness to joining another film franchise, but with one condition: it must be a short-lived series.

“If it was good enough and something I was interested in,” Radcliffe said, “I’m not sure if I’d sign up for something that was another seven or eight films or ten years but a shorter franchise, yeah.”

At a mere 11 years old, Radcliffe’s life experienced a profound transformation when he clinched the role of Harry Potter, triumphing over countless other aspiring actors in the audition process.

Daniel Radcliffe Finds Harry Potter Similar To Edward Cullen

Daniel Radcliffe astutely observed the uncanny resemblance between the beloved characters of Harry Potter and Edward Cullen. Both roles held a special place in fans’ hearts even prior to casting, assuring immense adoration and attention for whoever played them. Robert Pattinson, having recognized this similarity early on, adeptly navigated the fame that accompanied his portrayal in the Twilight series.

“Before Robert had even been cast, he went to a reading of the book with Stephanie Meyer, and when Stephanie Myer said the name Edward Cullen, the audience went nuts and screaming,” Radcliffe said. “And, you know, people were in love with that character. So whoever was going to step into that role was going to have a pretty crazy life for the next few years. I think it’s the same with Harry. It doesn’t really matter, in a way, who it is. If you are filling those shoes, then you are going to get a pretty wild reception.”

The awareness of this fact likely facilitated both Radcliffe and Pattinson in handling the intense spotlight as their franchises eventually calmed down. In contrast, Pattinson’s Twilight co-star, Taylor Lautner (who portrayed Jacob Black), seemed to lack the same initial understanding as Pattinson and Radcliffe, potentially making the transition less seamless for him.
