Before season 4 of the show aired, producer Caryn Mandabach Productions and distributor Endemol Shine International made a joint decision to remove the logo of shame from the credits. When Harvey Weinstein was fired by the board of his company, the production card of The Weinstein Company was also decided to be removed from the upcoming seasons as well as all past seasons.
Currently, Harvey Weinstein is serving his prison sentence of 39 years following charges of rape and s*xual assault. After he was exposed, many projects and platforms believed in cutting ties with him and his company. Some of the notable giants like Amazon, Paramount, and Apple were among the first to remove their names from The Weinstein Company which ultimately led to its bankruptcy.
However, on the other hand, the quality of Peaky Blinders escalated over time which allowed it to go till its sixth season with reports of a movie and several spin-off shows. Recently, the fans were also excited to learn that a return of Cillian Murphy can be expected in the upcoming feature.
Will Thomas Shelby return in the Peaky Blinders movie?

But during the BAFTA awards which were held a few months ago, the Oppenheimer lead hinted at his “hopeful” comeback in the upcoming feature.
“If there’s more story to tell, you know, I’m gonna be there. But I don’t know any of the specific updates. I’ve no exclusive that I can give you, frankly.”
It can also be understood that the actor didn’t have any concrete information but according to the makers, we can expect the movie in 2024. Creator Steven Knight also hinted that it might also be followed by several spin-off series. Nobody can deny that Peaky Blinders had a massive cultural impact and cutting ties with everything negative only helped them to rise higher.
