Emily Blunt Denies Ryan Gosling’s MCU Rumors

Ryan Gosling has been fan-cast as several Marvel characters that he could play in the MCU. Rumors also suggested that he could join the cast of the MCU reboot of Fantastic Four. The 42-year-old Canadian actor debunked such rumors and said that he would be interested in playing Ghost Rider instead.

However, Emily Blunt has recently shut down all the rumors surrounding the La La Land star’s association with the cinematic universe. During her recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, she revealed that Gosling is not interested in playing a superhero.

No, he doesn’t. I asked him about it. He doesn’t,” she said. When the host of the podcast stated that Gosling earlier said he wanted to play Ghost Rider, the Oppenheimer star called him a “dork” before adding that she might have a “beef” with her co-star about the whole conversation.

Blunt and Gosling are set to star in David Leitch’s upcoming film The Fall Guy, which is based on a 1980s TV series of the same name. During her interview, the Jungle Cruise actress also stated neither of them has played a superhero character yet.

Would Ryan Gosling Join the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
