Jujutsu Kaisen’s popularity is increasing with each passing day. People from all over the world are joining the fandom of this anime. The unique plot of Jujutsu Kaisen is quite appealing since it does not focus on the protagonist alone. Instead, there are tonnes of characters that can defeat or kill the main character without breaking a sweat.
Another thing that makes Jujutsu Kaisen unique is the portrayal of the main antagonist, Ryomen Sukuna. Ryomen Sukuna hardly had any screen time in the anime. But whenever he did show up, his evilness always caused problems for the Jujutsu High students. But the manga has been exploring Ryomen Sukuna’s powers and ideals for the last few chapters. After reading it, the fans are convinced that Sukuna might be a much better villain than Naruto’s Madara Uchiha.
What Makes Ryomen Sukuna A Better Villain Than Madara Uchiha?
In the previous arcs, Ryomen Sukuna was sealed inside Yuji Itadori. But a few chapters back, Sukuna planned an epic comeback and took over Megumi Fushiguro’s body. Since then, there has been no stopping him. With each chapter, his twisted morals are becoming clearer to the Jujutsu Kaisen fans. It did not take them long to brand him as one of the best villains. Even better than Madara Uchiha.
Naruto’s Madara Uchiha had quite an intriguing backstory, and people could somewhat understand why he turned to the negative side. But Sukuna does not have any of those. Sukuna was born with an immense level of cursed energy. Unlike Madara Uchiha, he did not have any friends like Hashirama Senju. He grew up completely alone and despised everything. Even though he understood every emotion, he grew way past them.
While Madara Uchiha wanted to create an ideal ninja world, Ryomen Sukuna did not have any kind of ideal. And that is what makes him a better villain than Madara Uchiha. He simply loves destruction and does not need any kind of ideal to kill people. He does it for the sake of it. Ryomen Sukuna is an egoistical maniac who does not value anyone other than himself. So, if he feels that he wants to kill humans, he does that without any kind of conscience pulling him back.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s Ryomen Sukuna Is Twisted
As mentioned above, Ryomen Sukuna is an egoistical maniac who follows his own rules. Chapter 238 of Jujutsu Kaisen showed that Sukuna had killed every strong sorcerer 1000 years ago and established himself as the king of curses. Yorozu always tried to preach love to him. But he was not interested. Sukuna knows about every emotion, but he feels that he has grown past them.
Chapter 238 revealed that Sukuna follows a twisted ideal. He can do whatever he wants. After killing Gojo Satoru, he has officially become the stronger character in Jujutsu Kaisen. Ryomen Sukuna does not have a sad backstory. He went on the negative side only because he enjoyed it. According to him, if he wants to eat, he eats; if he wants to kill, he kills; and if he wants to be entertained, he throws a bone for entertainment.

Due to his twisted nature, he has an unending supply of curse energy. Chapter 238 of Jujutsu Kaisen saw him returning to his form from 1,000 years ago. Now, he can use any ability or say any chant without straining any part of his body. He has become invincible. Fans loved the new Sukuna and are giving him the highest rank on the list of top villains.
