Spoiler Alert: This Article Contains Major Spoiler For Jujutsu Kaisen Manga
In the previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen Manga, Kashimo tried to attack Sukuna but couldn’t hurt him much. They had a brief conversation about love. Meanwhile, the barrier Hakari and Uraume were in was destroyed, and Itadori and Higuruma joined the battle.
Now, it’s time for the series’ protagonist, Yuji Itadori, to face off against Sukuna. That’s why Chapter #239 of Jujutsu Kaisen is highly anticipated by fans. What’s more interesting, the upcoming chapter will reveal Yuji’s new cursed technique. But, the big question remains: Is this new power potent enough to defeat the King of Curses?

Sukuna Will Face a Tough Challenge Against Yuji’s New Cursed Technique
Yuji Itadori didn’t have a cursed technique from birth and couldn’t see curses for most of his life. But that doesn’t mean he can’t develop one. Gojo explained long ago that Sukuna’s cursed technique would eventually become Yuji’s. It seems like this process has begun, as hinted in the last chapter.
Now, if you look closely at Yuji’s hand, you’ll notice he has sharp nails, which usually appeared when Sukuna took control of his body to use the Cleave and Dismantle techniques. The fact that Yuji can now manifest them without Sukuna being inside him suggests he might have gained access to Sukuna’s cursed technique. Fans knew this would happen eventually, and it might be happening now.
If Yuji does gain these powers in Chapter 239 of Jujutsu Kaisen, fans might see him cut Sukuna. Of course, since Sukuna is the original user of the technique, these cuts won’t harm him much. However, the same should apply in reverse; Yuji won’t be seriously affected by cutting techniques since they both share the same technique.

In the next chapter, fans can look forward to Yuji and Sukuna starting their fight. Maybe, this time, fans might see some characters grieving over Gojo’s death and Megumi’s loss. It was strange that the author didn’t allow any characters to mourn these deaths, including Shoko, who was close to Gojo.
Gojo’s students barely reacted in one panel, and it didn’t feel well-handled in the story. Now, there’s a chance for the author to improve this and how Yuji’s emotions play out in the upcoming chapters, which could be exciting for fans.
In the next chapter, expect Yuji and Sukuna to have an intense battle. Sukuna underestimated Yuji before, but now, with Yuji possibly gaining a new cursed technique and fueled by anger, Sukuna might find himself in a tough spot for the first time. Yuji could fulfill his potential and level up.
