Iron Man, one of the iconic Avengers has dominated his space in the hearts of Marvel fans for decades. Now it’s time to be amazed by an even more exciting Iron Man update, well, he has his hands on the super extreme metal Mysterium.

Iron Man now has X-Men’s new metal Mysterium— more potent than Adamantium and Vibranium in Gerry Duggan, Bryan Valenza, and Andrea Di Vito’s Invincible Iron Man #11.

Iron Man and Emma Frost teamed up to steal a trunk of mysterium from her old quarters. The duo exploited their publicized marriage and Frost disguised herself as Stark’s assistant Hazel as they planned to strike back at Orchis. Stark then retrieved the metal and decided to make his  ‘Mark 72 Armor’ with it. But Stark, being the curious mind planned it to test it before he added it into his suit.

Stark’s hands on the metal make him an extremely powerful superhero as Mysterium can rise above almost any attack and powers. Before using it on his suit, Stark tested the newfound metal on a few Avengers. He made a cane out of it and tested it on his fellow Avengers.

Remarkably, Marvel’s all-powerful and mighty hero Captain Marvel can not bend it. It also remained unaffected by the magic spell of Doctor Strange and he found that Mysterium remained undetected from Spider-Man’s spider-sense.

This certainly proves the prowess of the new metal. It’s beyond imaginable as Captain Marvel’s infinite power couldn’t put a dent in it. Although Stark has just a portion of it, he might want to go for more to fully design his new armor with it. When he does, he’ll virtually be the strongest Avengers.

This armor could be a huge plus for the aid of the Avengers in the Secret Wars as it is almost indestructive and possesses immense strength which will allow Iron Man to go anywhere.
