One of the recent episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 made a lot of noise after its release as it showed Kento Nanami in a badass form while fighting Haruta, one of the antagonists while saving Nobara and taking revenge for his subordinate Ichiji. The episode premiered on October 12, 2023. From the initial scene, in which Nanami walks up the stairs, until the final scene, in which Yuji is restrained by Choso, episode 12 far outperforms all prior episodes.
Even though the episode was unpleasant to see, fans went insane for an entirely different reason. Fans were impressed by the manner Nanami Kento vented the rage he experienced while watching the dead bodies of his subordinates on Shigemo Haruta. Although the animation of the scene was the thing most of the fans fell in love with, the most impactful thing of that scene was Nanami’s VA Kenjiro Tsuda who put his heart and soul into this scene.

Haruta Shigemo’s Voice Actor Got Scared While Watching Kenjiro Tsuda’s Performance
In a tweet posted on X by @JJK_Mya, it was revealed that in Ep-12, Nanami’s VA Kenjiro requested that the fight scene in which Nanami is pounding Haruta while asking him about his colleagues be retaken. The retake ended up making Nanami sound scarier than the original take. Haruta’s VA claimed that he was terrified watching Tsuda san control his rage while performing. Fans were both terrified and stunned watching Tsuda’s performance as Nanami and they filled the entire social media with his praise and his dedication to his work.
Nanami was already a fan-favorite character and his recent scene in episode 12 with Tsuda’s voice made him more popular among the entire anime fanbase. Fans are now eagerly waiting for Namani’s return in the upcoming episode to watch him break the internet again.
