The gifted child who was abandoned by his biological father and about to be sold by his stepfather is now considered to be the wealthiest character in the Kaisenverse. Along with riches, the Grade 2 sorcerer also has a treasured intellect in cursed energy.
Unlike other famous shonen like One Piece and Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen has no unique forms of currency. His work justifies the reason that he was able to raise 10 million yen to promote Megumi and Yuji Itadori to Grade 1 sorcerers and also has luxurious furniture in his home.
Although Gojo was considered to be the pick to be the next Zenin leader, the responsibility fell on Megumi Fushiguro’s shoulders. Cementing the fact that Megumi Fushiguro indeed is the richest character in Jujutsu Kaisen is the death of Satoru Gojo. The unfortunate event occurred in Chapter 236 but that was not the only highlight from Ryomen Sukuna’s tyranny.
Sukuna May Have Killed Megumi Fushiguro After His Reincarnation
Ryomen Sukuna has finally achieved his goal of honing Megumi’s ‘Ten Shadows’ technique before taking his body. The King of Curses manipulated Fushiguro by inflicting pain on his sister Tsumiki with the assistance of Yorozu, forcing the former to eat a finger and transform into a vessel.
Upon becoming a vessel, Megumi’s soul took all the damage from the Unlimited Void. Sukuna also stated that he had transformed into his true self after reincarnating in Megumi’s body. The life of the supposed richest character in Jujutsu Kaisen hangs by a thread or it may have been destroyed already given the toll on his soul and body.
There is still hope that Megumi Fushiguro is alive, especially after the event with Tsumiki as Yorozu was able to be reincarnated in her body but it didn’t take a life. She massively suffered from the transformation, physically and mentally, but ultimately she is alive.
