Ever since the original six Avengers stepped down from the pedestal, there has been an ongoing question throughout the fandom. There have been various heroes that have since been introduced. Although there are many characters that have been introduced, the original six Avengers always manage to shine in a way no one ever saw a team shine. Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye were not just a team, they became family. They were there for each other even though they started off as misfits. Following their disbandment, Marvel has confirmed three members of the Young Avengers.

Marvel Already Has its First 3 Young Avengers

According to the Hollywood Handle on X, Marvel has already decided on the first three members of the Young Avengers with many yet to be confirmed. There have been various characters introduced in the series in the last few phases, including Hulkling, Wiccan, Ms Marvel, and so many more. Out of these, only three have been confirmed to play a part as the future Young Avengers.

So far, Kate Bishop, Ms Marvel, and Cassie Lang are the only three members of the Young Avengers that are confirmed. While Kate Bishop and Ms Marvel have only now been introduced to the MCU, Cassie Lang is a character that the fans have seen grow since the first Ant-Man movie. Bishop was a character that was well received by the fans, as they enjoyed Hailee Steinfeld’s performance and the charisma she brought to the character. For Ms Marvel, however, the response had been somewhat bittersweet.

Fans Are Not Happy

Upon learning about who the confirmed members of the Young Avengers were, fans did not seem to be as happy. Robert Downey Jr fans particularly labeled them as the ‘Side character squad.’ There is no doubt that the impact the original six Avengers had would never be matched.

In this, they wish to see more characters including the Hulkling and Wanda’s twins. There have been a lot of characters introduced and many of them would make a fine addition to the team. However, not everyone is able to move on. In Steve Rogers’s words, ‘Some people move on, but not us.’ If the new Avengers can maintain the legacy of the original six, then there would be no one happier than the fans.
