In his childhood, Naruto constantly wanted to be recognized by the people near him, which made him commit these heinous acts; however, this personality trait was taken from the author himself.

In an interview in 2014 with Nippon, Masashi Kishimoto revealed that he pursued his own will and desires on Naruto, which made him desperate for the title of Hokage.

Being a Hokage means getting recognized by everyone in the village, and Naruto spent his entire journey working hard to become the Hokage.

Fortunately, after years of persistence and hard work, he finally became the Hokage and even found the love of his life. He is now married with two kids, Boruto and Himawari.
