Jujutsu Kaisen wrapped up its second season with a banger. The season finale ended with Yuta Okkotsu vowing to kill Yuji Itadori. After the finale, season 3 was announced, which will be based on the Culling Games arc. It will be one of the most important arcs of the anime as several new Jujutsu sorcerers will be making their way into the modern from centuries ago.
Kenjaku has been placing seals on several selected souls for a definite purpose. After absorbing Mahito, he used his Cursed Energy Technique to bring back curses from every era to start the Culling Games, where the fittest will survive. Due to this, there will be several powerful Cursed Spirits as well as Jujutsu Sorcerers present. For that reason, there will be a lot of deaths. So, let us see which characters will face the inevitable in Jujutsu Kaisen season 3.
5. Mai Zen’in
Mai Zen’in will be one of the characters that will die in Jujutsu Kaisen season 3. She was brutally beaten by her father and was on the verge of death. So, she decided to sacrifice herself for her twin sister, Maki Zen’in. Due to Mai having Cursed Energy, Maki’s Heavenly Restriction Pact could not be completed. After her death, Maki became as strong as Toji Fushiguro with Heavenly Restriction.
4. Masamichi Yaga
Masamichi Yaga is the principal of Tokyo Jujutsu High. He is the teacher of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto and a Grade-one sorcerer. Masamichi Yaga was held responsible for the Shibuya Incident arc. The Higher-Ups concluded that he was the reason behind Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo causing violence. Moreover, the Higher-Ups also wanted his Cursed Corpse Technique, but he did not reveal his secret. Ultimately, he was killed by Principal Gakukanji in Jujutsu Kaisen.
3. Naoya Zen’in
Naoya Zen’in is one of the vilest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. He is the son of Naobita Zen’in and was to succeed him in becoming the head of the Zen’in clan until Megumi Fushiguro came into the play. Naoya Zen’in is arrogant, prideful, and does not care for the others. He hated Mai and Maki for being weak and treated them as trash. But it was Maki Zen’in who killed him while eradicating every Zen’in member.
2. Yuki Tsukumo
Yuki Tsukumo is one of the four Special-grade sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen. Her ability, Star Rage, can alter the gravitational pull of her surrounding objects. She can use the Reversed Cursed Technique and has a Shikigami named Garuda. Unfortunately, she died while facing Kenjaku. Kenjaku used a mini Uzumaki to slice open her torso while she was busy with Star Rage. However, the fans were disappointed since she did not use her Domain Expansion.
1. Tsumiki Fushiguro
Tsumiki Fushiguro was the sister of Megumi Fushiguro. She was ill, and Megumi was looking for a cure. But Kenjaku had placed a seal on her soul. So, when he used Mahito’s remote Idle Transfiguration technique to bring back cursed spirits and Jujutsu sorcerers from different times in history, Yorozo, a powerful female sorcerer, was reincarnated in Tsumiki Fushiguro. Yorozu had a soft spot for Ryomen Sukuna and belonged to the same period. Unfortunately, she died at the hands of Sukuna while he had possessed Megumi’s body and used his cursed technique to kill her.
More Deaths
Apart from the above mentioned characters, several other characters like Dhruv Lakdawalla, Ryu Ishigori, Chizuru Hari, and Reggie Star will also face their deaths in the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen season season.
