Elden Ring is a Soulslike game and fans have shown the game immense love as the game’s popularity rose immediately after its release. The game is still topping charts in terms of hours played by gamers daily. While the game has several bosses that gamers either love fighting against repeatedly or have never beaten yet, a gamer has discovered a boss fight unlike any other in the game.

A short clip from the game shared by a Redditor shows what seems to be a buggy boss fight that was discovered by accident. The boss fight didn’t particularly last a whole lot long but it was still quite hilarious to witness.

Elden Ring is a game that has managed to somehow surprise gamers almost two years after it was released. Repeating boss fights and speed-running through the game in record time, gamers still keep playing the game as they wait for the first DLC to drop soon.

An Elden Ring player has posted a clip on Reddit of his discovery after wandering a dungeon in the game. He had come across a skeleton that was well and truly alive and ready for a fight. The skeleton is either that of a tarnished warrior or a hilarious bug.

As the player approached the skeleton to fight, the skeleton pulled a series of dodge rolls that looked just as funny as it sounded. As soon as the rolls ended, the player was able to face the skeleton and it only took a few strikes to behead and win the skeleton boss fight. The first strike took out the head and the skeleton crumbled down after the next strike.

Dodge rolls are a tactic practiced by new Elden Ring gamers while facing humongous boss fights to survive for as long as possible. Seeing the skeleton use the same and go down after just a couple of strikes got the gaming community a lot amused as seen in the comments section of the Reddit post.

More rolls than a bakery” was one of the comments left on the Reddit post that featured the buggy, bone-head boss fight among several other funny and sarcastic comments.

Two other comments in the post brought a fresh perspective to the game, as the Redditor mentioned, “In a parallel world, people are playing as the skeletons, and we are just the boss.” The other comment was by a user who said “So that’s what we look like from the enemies perspective“.

One of the comments also mentioned that “Skeletons have been rolling in souls games since Demon’s Souls.” Demon’s Souls is a 2009 PlayStation exclusive that featured boss fights of several skeletons.

Elden Ring still garners a lot of players as gamers wait for the game’s first DLC, Shadow of the ErdTree. The DLC could be shadow dropping as early as next month, although players are still having to wait for an official announcement. After seeing the skeleton now, there will be hope that there are no such glitches in the DLC, but if there are, we hope they’re just as fun.
