Fans have been sitting on the edge of their seat as Jujutsu Kaisen finally proceeds to its finale this year, and with the Manga getting ready to finally exit the Culling Game arc which featured the never-ending battle between Gojo Satoru and Sukuna, watchers have begun speculating what Gege Akutami might be planning next.
However, in a rather interesting turn of events, one of the editors of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, Junya Fukuda ended up teasing the fans with a huge shock. The editor made the announcement during his interview with a television show in Japan.
Screenshots from the telecast quickly began making rounds on Twitter, revealing how the shooting crew managed to capture panels from the future chapters of the series, which were unfortunately blurred in the telecast.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s Editor Gives A Big Tease About Future Chapters
In the above-mentioned interview, Fukuda mentioned how he was working on the next two chapters, calling it the most “shocking” chapter when he was asked about it. It was easy to observe how the blurred-out panel left the host of the show stunned for the rest of the time he interviewed Fukuda. He has also, on the same show, talked about how Gege Akutami has already thought about how they want to end the show and has told his editor about the same.
Fans have also already started to speculate what the blurred panels might depict, with many calling it to be either a resurrection of an important character in the series or the death of one.

Many fans also believe the manga panels either depict the return of Gojo Satoru, or Nobara Kugisaki. The two characters were highly loved by fans and the death of either has never been surely confirmed in the series.
Can Gojo Satoru or Nobara Kugisaki Be Returning To The Jujutsu Kaisen Series?
As mentioned before, Gojo Satoru and Nobara Kugisaki remain highly liked characters by the fans, leading a lot of them to believe how Junya Fukuda was editing the manga panel which showcased their return to the series.
Another factor that solidifies this theory is how the editor has called this to be one of the most shocking events in the upcoming chapters, which given the abrupt ending to both Gojo and Nobara, can imply their return to the series as an attempt by the writer to surprise the readers.

It is also entirely possible that it will be neither Gojo nor Nobara to make a return to the series, and Gege Akutami will once again surprise their fans with something unpredictable. Whatever the case, it will be revealed in the coming chapter 248, which is set to release on January 21st, followed by Chapter 249 to be released on January 29th.
