Earlier in the year 2022, the ‘He Who Remains’ actor, Jonathan Majors, faced charges of domestic violence and assault concerning his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. However, things quickly took a dark turn in December when the actor was found guilty of these charges, specifically on two misdemeanor counts related to harassment and assault. And in his first-ever interview since the verdict, conducted with ABC, the actor revealed his side of the story.

Jonathan Majors Admits to Apologizing to Girlfriend
Despite Jonathan Majors experiencing an upward trajectory in his career, particularly keeping in mind MCU’s extensive plans with Kang, his personal life took an unexpected turn, leading him to face legal challenges. His ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, asserted that the initial months of their relationship were nothing short of heavenly, but subsequently turned bitter.
Allegedly, Majors frequently erupted in anger, resulting in numerous outbursts and incidents that eventually led them to court. One such incident took place in July 2022, where Jabbari detailed an incident in which Majors’ rage escalated to the point where he reportedly threw household items at her.
But speaking to ABC News, Majors had a different version of the story, he said,
“I was on the other side of the room, away from her as I think she testified and by my beside table, I did a sweep. I knocked over my candles, I completely lost my temper at that moment and threw it all on the ground–where she also said, afterwards I wept and cried in the corner and said I’m sorry.”

During the interview, the actor acknowledged apologizing to his ex-girlfriend following this specific incident, even though, according to Jabbari’s testimony, he rarely expressed remorse. The actor went on to describe himself as a “monster” and a “horrible man” in the aftermath of such fits of rage.
Moreover, Majors chose not to testify in his defense during the trial, stating that he now wishes to share his side of the story as part of the healing process.
Jonathan Majors Dropped from Various Projects After Legal Issues
It’s an unfortunate period for Jonathan Majors. Following his arrest in early 2022, not only Marvel but several other studios and brands have severed ties with the actor. This includes various movies and television shows. Additionally, the actor has also been dropped by his management team. In the ABC interview, he claimed,
“Everything has kinda gone away. And it’s just me now, you know, and my lovely, you know, partner, [actress] Meagan [Good], and my dogs,”

The actor teared up while mentioning that it has been a long time since he last saw his 9-year-old daughter, blaming the situation he is currently facing.
He is presently awaiting his sentencing for the charges, scheduled for February 6th, 2024.
