Known for his extraordinary and seemingly impossible stunt sequences in movies like Mission: Impossible, the 61-year-old actor had his wardrobe team design multiple pairs of such undergarments to feel comfortable and experience a high degree of flexibility. As per a source close to the news site, the infamous Scientogist prefers G-strings meticulously crafted from soft, stretchy materials.
“They have to be thin enough to be flexible but also sturdy enough to make it through the high-powered scenes and not tear.”
And since the actor is often seen performing gravity-defying and daring stunts, it is understandable that Cruise might require some freedom and comfort to bring his fans the best action and stunt sequences they have ever seen.
Tom Cruise Has No Shame In Wearing Custom-Made Thongs
Tom Cruise is not so young anymore physically as he appears to be in spirit. Since his insatiable thirst for daring stunts doesn’t seem to be diminishing anytime soon, Cruise asked his wardrobe department to design him some comfortable thongs that he can wear on the most physically demanding days on sets. A source close to the Daily Star also stated,
“Hardly a film goes by without Tom engaged in some gravity-defying tumble or audacious backflip from skyscraper heights. Over the years it’s taken its toll and he had his wardrobe department rustle him up a comfy thong.”
“He has no shame in it, he sees it as a way of improving his flexibility as he gets older. Tom insists on having at least 50 things on hand in case one becomes too worn or uncomfortable.”
