But it was Zoro who assured them to leave Vivi to her terms instead of jumping in to save her. She is an honorary member of the Strawhat Pirates and can take care of her.
If the situation calls for their help, they will always be there for Vivi. But for the moment, they should leave her and focus on their journey. It shows that Zoro does think women are weak and believes them to be strong and independent. There are several other incidents when Roronoa Zoro has channeled his inner feminist, not only in opinions but during fights, too.
Be it a man or a woman, he will face them without any hesitation. During his fight with Monet, he brought out his inner feminist. Even though Monet was a female, he did not back down from a fight. In his words, there is no wild animal that would not bite their prey. Saying this, he launched his attack on Monet. Fear took over Monet, and she lost her footing. Zoro’s inner aura frightened her so much that she could not get back up.
Roronoa Zoro Is Eiichiro Oda’s Greatest Answer to the Sexist Attacks
Feminism means equality of genders in every aspect. The incident about Vivi and the battle with Monet was more than enough to answer back to the people who attacked Eiichiro Oda. It also happened with Tashigi when Zoro did not back down from facing her. It shows that he is not a fan of gender discrimination. Due to this, he can be given the title of the ultimate feminist even though his creator is often attacked for his sexist storylines.
One Piece has entered its final saga, and it might be soon that the story gets over. But the fans never back down from criticizing the mangaka, and with the Egghead Island arc’s female attires, the same thing happened again. Hopefully, Roronoa Zoro will be there to stand for the One Piece creator once again.
