Mark Wahlberg Reveals Temptations to Skip Gym Sessions
Mark Wahlberg values his “me time” so much that he starts his day well before dawn. The 52-year-old star told E! News, “As long as I get my eight hours, I can do my thing. I’ve been getting up lately at 3:30.”
That’s not it, Wahlberg starts his day by getting into a tub of icy water, about 35 degrees, called a cold plunge. This helps him get in the mood for a workout, he told People, “I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m awake, I’m alive.’ We’re a go right after that. So I just go and I do the work.”

But the Uncharted star emphasized that staying fit and willingly tackling tough challenges is crucial to his lifestyle. The former singer is currently involved in the production of Arthur the King, which is based on the 2016 non-fiction memoir, Arthur – The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home by Swedish athlete Mikael Lindnord.
The film tells the true story of Brandt, who was followed by a street dog during an ultramarathon in the jungles of Ecuador.
Arthur the King is set to release on March 15, 2024.
