Throughout his career in Wrestling and show business, Dwayne Johnson has engaged in numerous feuds, whether with co-stars like Vin Diesel or fellow wrestler John Cena. Yet, one that caught many off guard was his sassy retort to music producer DJ Khaled’s contentious remarks about his intimate life.
In a resurfaced interview, Khaled discussed the differing standards for men and women in intimacy, but Johnson didn’t appear impressed with his candid revelations, leading to an unforeseen and cutting response from the actor.
Dwayne Johnson’s Sharp Response to DJ Khaled’s Intimate Confession
In a previous interview with The Breakfast Club, DJ Khaled got quite candid about his s*x life. Referring to himself as “the king,” he opened up about how a woman should praise the man and the man should praise the woman. However, there are still certain things that he just didn’t do.
When the female host on the show asked him if his remarks meant that he didn’t perform oral s*x, he said, “Nah, never. No, I can’t do that. I don’t do that.” However, when asked if his wife also got the same choice as him, he denied it, claiming that he’s “the king of the house.”
“No that’s not OK, because you have to understand I am the don, I am the King,” he said before adding, “It’s different rules for men. We the King. There’s some things that y’all don’t want to do but got to get done.”
When the 2015 interview resurfaced three years later, it stirred reactions from both the public and Hollywood figures like the Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood. And the wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson also chimed in.
“As a man, I take great pride in mastering ALL performances,” he said in a tweet before suggesting that the conversation might be getting too personal for his liking. “This is probably a little TMI.. I will not quietly excuse myself from this fun thread,” he further stated.
WWE Executive and Amazon MGM Spokesperson Defend Dwayne Johnson
A recent report from The Wrap stated how Dwayne Johnson’s alleged “chronic lateness and lack of professionalism” have led to significant budget overruns for his upcoming movie Red One, surpassing $250 million.
The report cited instances where he was accused of being hours late to set, along with the main event match at WrestleMania 40. However, both an Amazon MGM spokesperson and a WWE executive have refuted these claims.
“Dwayne Johnson and Seven Bucks have been incredible partners on Red On,” the Amazon MGM spokesperson told The Wrap before adding, “We couldn’t have made it without Dwayne’s constant work and support.” They also described the claims about his unprofessional behavior as “ridiculous and false.”
Similarly, Chris Legentil, WWE’s executive vice president for talent relations and head of communications, countered the claims, affirming that Johnson was not late for WrestleMania and was instead present hours ahead to assist with rehearsal.
