Christopher Nolan and The Dark Knight Trilogy are two peas in a pod, and people know it quite well. Finding fame and love for giving the world Christian Bale’s Batman alongside Heath Ledger’s Joker, Nolan created a unique version of Batman that the world didn’t expect.
With iconic and intriguing storylines across the trilogy and some heavenly music by Hans Zimmer, The Dark Knight Trilogy solidified Chris Nolan as a visionary director. Despite the praise that the film received, people seem to think that the fight sequences in the film… aren’t that great.
The Fight Scenes In Batman Begins Were Not That Great!
It was the year 2005 when veteran director Christopher Nolan released the first film of his iconic franchise titled Batman Begins. Starring Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne aka Batman and Liam Neeson as Ras-al Ghul, the film did its job of making the people interested in the world of Nolan’s superheroes.
With Cillian Murphy portraying the role of Scarecrow and the whole of Gotham City under the risk of the fear gas, the stakes were as high as ever. The film starts and ends with Christian Bale fighting Neeson’s Ras-al Ghul and during these fight sequences, people stated that they had a problem.
Despite the film receiving rave reviews and worldwide fame, fans felt that the choppy editing of these fight scenes made the experience not great. Taking to Reddit, people were asked what would be the one thing that they’d change in Batman Begins if given a chance.

In Nolan’s defense, the director wasn’t that experienced when he started working on Batman Begins. It would be 5 years later when Nolan would release Inception and the world would come to realize his true greatness.
But that was a time when Nolan was on a journey to discover his own filmography. After creating some iconic movies like The Prestige, Interstellar, and, The Dark Knight fans saw the genius director at work. Christopher Nolan’s films have become an inspiration for other directors as well, including Dune director Denis Villeneuve!

Veteran director Denis Villeneuve is known for directing Dune: Part One and Part Two alongside several other movies that have given him the status of a serious director. From casting Timothée Chalamet to depicting the story of Paul Atreides, Villeneuve has got millions of people invested in the story and lore of Dune.
Despite the director being a notable person himself, Villeneuve couldn’t help but gush over Christopher Nolan. Stating that Nolan is one of those guys who thinks more deeply, Villeneuve stated that he considers Nolan in high regard!
In an interview with Empire, the Blade Runner 2049 director had nothing but praise for the director.

And Villeneuve is indeed right. Despite some choppy fight scenes, Batman Begins received a rating of 8.2/10 on IMDB and a whopping 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. The film’s intriguing storyline and Chris Nolan’s visionary outlook compensated for the choppy fight scenes.
