Helldivers 2 is a video game about pure chaos especially when the end is in sight. One player did everything he could to bob and weave through the battlefield to reach the extraction point unscathed with precious cargo like rare samples only to be crushed at the exfil.
It can be annoying to perish not at the hands of the enemy or from friendly fire by a trigger-happy ally but by Pelican-1 itself. The player even managed to collect a few rare samples which are hard to come by these days but none of it mattered after he was killed unceremoniously.
Helldivers 2 Player Nearly Rage Quit After Being Crushed to Death
Fast-paced and action-oriented games are known to be intense and could get the adrenaline pumping. The gaming community for this game is quite strong but the player count is dwindling due to the changes made. The developers addressed it and promised to revert the changes to make the experience less stressful and overwhelming.
I HATE this game. Sometimes. Lost 29 samples. WHY IS THIS A THING.

However, the annoying spawn rate isn’t the only problem that is hampering the experience and this should be rectified before other players fall victim to it. The efforts of one player to collect rare samples for the last 40 minutes are wasted because they divebombed underneath the ramp which eventually kills him as they phased through.

It can be upsetting to get eliminated unfairly and has nothing to do with the gameplay but purely with how the game physics work. Grinding for rare resources in video games can be monotonous and time-consuming, making it one of the least favorable activities.
What makes matters even worse is that the end is in literal sight and they and their teammates had to hold the line and fend off hostile forces but the journey was cut short by the extraction vehicle.
This feature to collect resources in a stressful environment doesn’t scream fun but quite the opposite. The player even attempted to finish the mission in style by divebombing on the ramp knowing they had 29 rare samples in hand and accomplishing the objectives but at the cost of their life.
Helldivers 2 Players Need to Tread Carefully With the Pelican-1 Around
Perhaps the developers will look into this issue and add a fix for it with a new patch that is coming sometime soon. No game is perfect and the performance may be shotty in a few areas like physics and the environment that may not be groundbreaking but occasionally annoying.
To create a more balanced and enjoyable gaming experience, the developers should consider adjusting the resource caps to discourage excessive grinding by players. This will help maintain a fair and competitive environment.
It will also ensure that players can progress without spending excessively grinding for resources. Change can be good and game developers should pay attention to the player’s experience other than the system itself.
