Netflix’s Tomb Raider Series Starring Hayley Atwell Gets a Release Date
Netflix has announced the release date of the highly-anticipated Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft. The anime-style television series will be hitting the streaming platform on October 10 this year, which means we just have about four months before we can feast our eyes to Netflix’s next masterpiece.
Lara Croft will be voiced by Hayley Atwell, who is best known for her roles in Agent Carter and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning. Tasha Huo serves as the showrunner of the project. He has worked on projects like The Witcher: Blood Origin and Red Sonja.

Apart from Atwell, The Legend of Lara Croft stars Allen Maldonado as Zip, Lara’s tech expert, and Earl Baylon, who was the voice of Jonah Maiava in the video game trilogy. Baylon will be reprising his role in the series.

The fans sure do have a point. Thanks to the success of shows like Castlevania, Blue Eye Samurai, Blood of Zeus, Arcane, Baki Hanma, Happy Marriage, and so on, Netflix has built itself a reputation for delivering top-tier animated content that has the approval of both fans and critics.
The streaming platform has already set the bar quite high with the projects mentioned above, most of which have a Rotten Tomatoes rating above 90%. In fact, both Blood of Zeus and Arcane have been awarded with a 100% rating on the website, which is quite a rare feat. It’s safe to say that The Legend of Lara Croft is in safe hands.
The Legend of Lara Croft will be released on October 10, on Netflix.
