The Axis Unseen is going to be an exciting title to play. This indie horror action-adventure title doesn’t have a solid release date yet but will be launched somewhere around October 2024. The game is going to give chills in your bones when you hunt (or get hunted by) wild creatures like Bigfoot, Mothman, and Loch Ness Monster.
This game was recently presented at the Summer Game Fest a few days ago and got a brand-new gameplay trailer. However, the solo developer of the game, Nate Purkeypile, had to take some measures with the new trailer so that it could be watched by everyone.
Nate Purkeypile Had to Blur Explicit Scenes from the Axis Unseen Trailer

The upcoming title is all about brutal hunting in a heavy-metal horror setting. It’s quite natural that this game is rated as M (Mature 17+). However, to get the most out of the trailer, it has to be seen by most fans. That’s why Purkeypile had to blur out some violent and explicit scenes from this trailer. And hence, the trailer is rated E (Everyone). Seeing the blurry part of the trailer, it seems some extremely brutal hunting scenes are waiting for the fans who are going to try out this title.
A certain place doesn't want violence in my trailer even though it's going to be an M-Rated game🤷♂️
I'm a solo dev and don't have time to cut a brand new trailer…
This is the result, enjoy😆
This trailer is Rated E for Everyone. Ish.🔥

Nate Purkeypile has previously worked for popular Bethesda titles like Skyrim, Starfield, and Fallout. This ex-Bethesda developer is on his own with this title, so he didn’t have enough time to cut out certain explicit parts. That’s why those scenes were blurred out.
However, most of the fans want a horror metal game to have gruesome violence because this is what it is. And according to them, it was not right for certain authorities to make Purkeypile make the scenes blur out. However, he has not yet disclosed which authority he is talking about. It was not on Steam or YouTube, though.
More About The Axis Unseen
![There will be no microtransactions in The Axis Unseen.](https://fwmedia.fandomwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/12023757/qfq-1-1024x512.png)
Seeing the trailer, it’s as clear as water that the bow and arrow are going to be your best friends in this game. The arrow will glow whenever it seeks an upgrade. Yes, it looks similar to the Standing Stones of Skyrim, but the upcoming game is not going to be a conventional RPG title.
The main character of the game has to hunt down wild creatures on his journey, following the footsteps of these features with blood trails as well. He has worked tirelessly his entire life to develop supernatural precision in archery and hunting.
Along with these, the game will also showcase some unique features that we hardly see in other games these days. For example, there will be no microtransactions and no digital rights management (DRM). You won’t need the internet to play the title either.
The gaming world right now is highly anticipated with this upcoming indie title. What are your thoughts on The Axis Unseen? Let us know in the comment section.
