Helldivers 2 players have been tasked to liberate Hellmire, Nivel 43, Estanu, Crimsica, and Fori Prime of the Draco and Mirin sectors using Hive Break Drills. During this liberation campaign, players have come across big boreholes on the planets and some have managed to use them boreholes to troll Terminid units.
Chargers can be very annoying as players lose a lot of health if they get struck by them, and if the impact doesn’t kill them, the hordes of small enemies will. The large, heavily armored Terminid unit can be very difficult to take down but on these 5 planets, players found this simple trick to take down Chargers in just a few seconds, without shooting a single bullet!
Helldivers 2 players are using this trick to kill Chargers easily
While fighting on Hellmire, Nivel 43, Estanu, Crimsica, and Fori Prime, players can use the big boreholes to their advantage. A clip shared by a player named bird of prey is currently going viral on X, in which the player tricks a Charger into falling into the hole. The player was standing on the edge of the hole and when the Charger began its run, he jumped over it using a Jump Pack right before the impact. The community found this trick hilarious and it’s safe to say that more and more players will now use this trick.

Using this simple trick, players can take down not just Chargers but any Terminid unit as there is no coming back from that massive hole. Players have been ordered to liberate 5 planets of the Draco and Mirin sectors to make space for Super Citizens. They have been provided with Hive Break Drills to destroy Terminid nurseries on these planets. This seems like a solid plan but we’re sure that it will backfire soon.
Hive-Lords are coming to Helldivers 2
The boreholes could be hinting that a terrifying Terminid threat is coming to the game. Some players have pointed out that some strange noises can be heard from these holes and since Hive-Lords navigate under the ground by creating tunnels, it’s clear that Hive Break Drills may have brought them out of hiding.
Skeletons of Hive-Lords have been discovered on Terminid planets so it was bound to happen sooner or later. For now, Helldivers need to prepare themselves for this battle as it is not easy to take down these massive sandworms. it has been confirmed that the recent destruction of Meridia has caused mutations within the Terminid faction, and Hive-Lords could be a result of that.
Helldivers 2 is available on Windows and PlayStation 5.
