The ‘Drake-Kendrick Lamar Beef’ has been going on for the past few months, with the topic being trending again after Lamar’s latest ‘Pop Out – Ken & Friends’ concert in LA. Many moments from the concert have gone viral, including his first live performance of the climactic diss track Not Like Us, which the rapper reportedly played five times.

The concert and the release of Not Like Us have been widely regarded by fans as the moment of victory for Kendrick Lamar in the feud as Drake has yet to respond. The feud between the two reportedly dates back to the early 2010s, when both had referenced each other in their music.

Now, an old video has resurfaced on Instagram which shows Drake giving a shoutout to his fellow artists on the stage at a concert. Filmed during the end of the Club Paradise Tour in San Diego in 2012, the moment sees Drake hyping up Lamar, A$AP Rocky, and Chase N. Cashe in his ‘thank you’ speech. He says,

Each and every one of you is responsible for the four individuals on the stage tonight and we will rep for y’all till they lay us back on our motherf*ckin backs…Like I said, this is my brother A$AP Rocky, this is my brother Kendrick Lamar, this is my brother Chase N. Cashe.

After the show ends and the artists exit the stage, Lamar and Drake are even seen hugging each other.

The old video of Drake and Kendrick Lamar on good terms at the Club Paradise Tour concert showed the relationship the two shared early in their careers and how far things have gone now. Lamar’s latest concert ‘Pop Out – Ken & Friends’ proved that Lamar was not done hating on the Hotline Bling star just yet.

Many have considered the concert to be the final nail in the coffin of Drake’s status as the loser of the beef. According to Forbes magazine, Lamar invited many stars such as Dr. Dre, YG, Tyle, the Creator, and more to join him on stage while he played his popular diss track Not Like Us.

The Grammy-winning rapper reportedly started the concert with Euphoria, the first of the string of diss tracks he released earlier this year that were aimed at Drake. Lamar reportedly also performed Not Like Us five times, with a viral moment seeing Dr. Dre opening the track with the line ‘Pssttt…I see dead people’, which many theorized that was a dig aimed at Drake using ghostwriters for his songs.
