Dragon Ball: Fusion Reborn was released in 1995. But we still can’t get over the fact that the film is solely dedicated to one of the most beloved features in the universe, fusions. With it, Metamoran fusion of Goku and Vegeta, dubbed Gogeta, was introduced, who defeated Janemba in hell.
Since his first appearance, he has become one of the fan favorites and now it is likely that the Z version will be coming in Sparking Zero too. Some fans have spotted details in one of the screenshots of the game that indicate Bandai Namco has included him in the 164-player character roster too.
There’s No Doubt Among The Fans That He’ll Make it
The heat of the matter is that Dragon Ball fans are speculating everything they can before the upcoming Bandai Namco game arrives on October 11, 2024. Many characters have already been revealed in the recent trailers but many remain concealed. Fans now believe that Super Gogeta from Fusion Reborn has been teased.
In a conversation that began on social network Reddit, one user called ControlAltChip shared an image where we can see ‘Gogeta(Z)’ in the subtitle appearing on the screen.
One fan, dubbed black_slime01, appeared extremely confident about the character’s entry in the game. He doesn’t hold any doubts about that matter.
One fan going by the name FrostBoy12 gave a detailed breakdown of what it could be, and others agree with him.
Another one called ThyNameisJason0 was obvious in the character’s inclusion in the upcoming game.
While the Z version may not have been confirmed but Gogeta’s Dragon Ball Super version is definitely on the cards.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is Coming For The Crown
By all means, fans should speculate about whether every character born out of fusion will make an appearance. Among the factors that almost confirm this fact is one of the trailers was solely dedicated to it. From Gotenks to Universe 6’s Kefla, the ‘Fusions’ trailer sheds light on what to expect with the feature.
Among the video games in the mainline series, FighterZ holds the crown as far as the matter of games doing justice to a franchise is concerned. It was the best of both worlds, 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional. On the face of it, Bandai Namco’s game is coming to take this crown.
And it’s not just the characters that fans should be excited about. The game is pulling the arcs straight out of the anime, where players have the choice to alter the moments that appeared on TV. However, it is unlikely they’ll get to alter the story. The end will be inevitable.
