There have been a lot of terrifying creatures in the universe of Gears of War, including krylls, drones, wretches, and berserkers, who have given nightmares to many over the years. There have been changes in the design elements along with graphics enhancement of these terrifying creatures in the latest title by Coalition Studio and Xbox Game Studios, which has made the game’s universe more terrifying.
It is quite impressive what Gears of War: E-Day manages to achieve, artwise, by enhancing and injecting characters with so much horror and terror without fundamentally altering the design. This has caused people to wonder what the most terrifying creatures, berserkers, would look like in the game if they were to make a comeback. One Reddit user shared their thoughts regarding the matter They said:

However, Berserkers have not been seen in recent games, and it is highly unlikely to see them make a comeback in the main gameplay. They can still be a part of the world outside of campaigns, but nothing has been revealed as of now. Even the latest trailer does not feature any Berserks, as much as it would be nice to see Berserks make their way back into the game, it would be really cool to have them as recurring boss fights spread across the game.
How the Berserkers will appear in the game is still open to speculation, as nothing has been revealed as of now but it sure will be one of the most terrifying creatures in the game, especially after going through several enhancements in the past.

The reveal trailer has managed to reignite the Gears of War’s flame within people, as they have now been exposed to a much better and enhanced world than before.
One user shared their thought on the horrific drone featured in the trailer. They said:
