As always, one of Xbox Game Pass’s features is the surprise it offers its users: additions to games that may have gone unnoticed elsewhere. In this case, the game is Robin Hood Sherwood Builders, which recently arrived at the service and seems to be more than satisfying to players.
This title, developed by MeanAstronauts and Console Labs S.A., combines third-person action in the style of this well-known character with the possibility of base-building and other activities using the resources we obtain as we rob various targets.
Robin Hood Sherwood Builders Is a Positively Surprising Addition for Xbox Game Pass Users
Countless independent developers have shared that, thanks to Xbox Game Pass, their games have gained popularity that they couldn’t achieve on their own. Games like Palworld have become famous because many users try the title through the service and then purchase the full, standalone version. Robin Hood Sherwood Builders, a recently added game to the service, is causing this phenomenon.
Mixing third-person action and base-building, this title lets us play as the iconic character and use all the resources we steal to create a spectacular base.
The game, developed by MeanAstronauts and Console Labs S.A., was originally released in February and, as of June 27, is available on Microsoft’s service as well as the official Microsoft store for separate purchase for Xbox Series S/X.
Microsoft’s Service Does It Again
Unfortunately, the game has not yet confirmed if it will be released on PlayStation 5 at some point. However, the team is quite pleased with the game’s launch results on Microsoft’s service.
Despite having rather basic mechanics, Robin Hood Sherwood Builders is a solid game that mixes third-person action well with the ability to build your own base for this popular thief using classic options.
The main game mechanics revolve around this character’s signature weapon, the bow. Using it, he attacks several carriages full of resources and rewards to use in constructing the base, using basic tools like a pickaxe and a hammer.
This popular hero will face a powerful regime trying to hunt him down at any cost. This base could be fortified to repel enemy attacks at any point; the number of features is on point.
Xbox Game Pass proves it’s a must-have service when studios don’t know how to make projects profitable. This tool provides visibility to independent developers that even Steam cannot guarantee. Numerous titles have already expressed how useful the platform is in gaining popularity, something that would otherwise be nearly impossible to achieve. The service needs to grow even more to ensure that this strategy keeps working.
