Ahsoka Season 1 ended on quite the cliffhanger, with Ahsoka, Sabine, and Huyang stuck in another galaxy, and Ezra having just returned to the main Galaxy. Further, Grand Admiral Trawne has made his way back from his exile, jeopardizing the New Republic in the wake of the defeat of Emperor Palpatine.

With the troubles of Ahsoka and The New Republic mounting, it seems that Season 2 of the show will be introducing another antagonist for our characters to face, one who could assist Baylan Skoll in his quest for hidden power. However, this character could also bring Luke Skywalker into Ahsoka’s story, given that the character has quite some history in the Legends continuity.
Ahsoka Season 2 might introduce The Mother into the Star Wars Canon

Baylan Skoll was convinced that Peridea held a secret power that could help him achieve his goals, given that it was the original home of the Night Sisters and had the Mortis gods carved on a cliffside, possibly pointing any traveler that had come to seek the power in its direction.
Given that the Nightsisters have a matriarchal society, it would make sense for the characters to be somehow related to The Mother, a Dark Side force entity related to The Father, The Son, and The Daughter (who were introduced in The Clone Wars).
If she is indeed introduced into the main Star Wars canon, it would be important to bring in Luke Skywalker into the second season of Ahsoka, given that he has had a history with the character. Skywalker, along with his son Ben, fought The Mother in the Legends timeline, and while Ben Skywalker does not exist in Star Wars Canon, Luke can still play out a version of the events in them
Fans want Luke Skywalker to fight The Mother, should she appear in Ahsoka Season 2

Season 2 of Ahsoka has been slow on updates, but there are some exciting things on the horizon, given that the show is being developed under the guidance of Dave Filoni. Given that the show exists in the Filoniverse side of Star Wars, fans are excited about the possibility of seeing young Luke Skywalker again.
Ahsoka Season 2 has a lot of plots to work with, given that it needs to find a way to get Ahsoka and Sabine back to the main universe, prepare the Republic to fight Thrawn and his witches and pay off the storyline that has begun taking shape with Baylan Skoll and his ex-apprentice Shin Hati.
Ahsoka is available to stream on Disney+
