One theory, in particular, has been gaining a lot of attention lately. This theory suggests that the new protagonist, Jason, might meet a grim fate similar to the protagonists of GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

The theory started out with a tweet that pointed out a peculiar pattern. According to it, some fans believe that Jason will meet the same fate as John Marston, Arthur Morgan, Michael, and Trevor. The reason is that they all have facial scars, in the form of subtle foreshadowing.

The tweet mentioned how John Marston, the beloved protagonist from Red Dead Redemption, had a scar on his face and met a tragic end. Arthur Morgan, the main character from Red Dead Redemption 2, also had a facial scar and faced a heartbreaking demise.

And then there’s both Michael and Trevor from GTA 5, who had a scar on their face too and can meet a brutal end depending on the ending selected, according to the player’s choice. It’s like the scars are some kind of cursed mark.

Fans didn’t stop there, though. They pointed out that other characters with scars, like Johnny Klebitz from GTA 4, also met similar fates, although in the sequel and not in their own game. So, naturally, fans are now worried about Jason, the new protagonist in GTA 6.

He also has a facial scar, and fans wonder whether Rockstar will continue this pattern of foreshadowing or if the scars are just an intentional pattern given all of these character’s lifestyles and the sort of crimes they get up to

Jason is one of the two main characters in GTA 6, and fans are already getting attached to him after the reveal trailer. But this theory has got them worried. If the pattern holds true, Jason might be in for a rough ride.

Rockstar Games are known for their storytelling and attention to detail. They love throwing in little hints and clues that fans can pick up on. So, it’s not entirely out of the realm of possibility that they would use something as subtle as a facial scar to foreshadow a character’s fate. It’s a classic Rockstar move.

Of course, this is all just speculation. We don’t have any concrete evidence that Jason will meet the same fate as the other scarred characters. For all we know, Rockstar might be throwing us a curveball and Jason could end up defying the odds. After all, the GTA series is known for its unpredictability as well.

Still, fans can’t help but feel a bit uneasy. They’ve grown attached to characters before, only to see them meet tragic ends. The thought of Jason going down a similar path is definitely unsettling, given what has happened to the previous protagonists.
