Fans Gave Thrilling Reactions To Brad Pitt’s F1 Trailer

F1 is an Apple Original Films production that would follow former Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes who comes back to the racing arena and mentors rookie teammate Joshua Pearce played by Damson Idris.

The cast also includes Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Sarah Niles, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo, to name a few. The filming production for F1 took place at actual Formula 1 events such as the British Grand Prix. What’s more interesting is that they also used real actors driving real race cars.

Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski oversees the project with Brad Pitt, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton serving as producers. Fans could not help but express excitement for the upcoming movie. Check out the reactions below:

Pitt previously talked about how he loved his time working on the film. He told Martin Brundle for Sky Sports F1 via Motorsport:

It’s just great to be here, man. It’s the best time of my life. Listen, it’s all been great. I mean, the vibe is amazing, you know that, but just to get to be a part of it in this way, and get to tell our story, and everyone’s been really cool with us.

The movie reportedly spent over $300 million as per Puck News, which makes it one of the most expensive film productions ever. However, this is a massive risk for the studio as it needs to make at least $800 million globally to become a box-office success. Pitt will have to rely on his star power and acting legacy to attract more audience.

Chris Hemsworth Starred As Formula One Racer In 2013’s Rush

A Formula One-themed biographical sports movie starring Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl was released in 2013 and was highly favored by fans and critics. On Rotten Tomatoes alone, it earned an impressive 89% approval rating. As per Box Office Mojo, it grossed over $96 million against a budget of $38 million.

The majority of the reviews praised it for its immersive nature and cleverly done storyline, filling it with sentimental emotions in the midst of action. Pitt’s F1 will have to contend with this and prove that it can do better given its sky-high budget.
