Mods these days have become an essential part of the gaming community. With these, you can change everything about the game, from gameplay to graphics. Later on, Bethesda heard the shouts from the fans and added official mod support. And since then, fans have done wonders.

Since the arrival of the Creation Kit in Starfield, the official modding tool kit from Bethesda, the community has been showing what they are capable of. There are many mods that can elevate your gameplay to a whole new level. For example, you can sell captured knocked-out criminals to get a heavy ransom.

However, there is a mod that totally clears up the clutter of the fact that fans have been disgusted about for a long time. Since the launch of the games, fans have always complained about the constant loading screens between planets, which actually deflected the flow of the gameplay. But now there is a new mod called Astrogate.

With this mod, players can indulge in seamless interplanetary travel that puts their ship on total autopilot. Not only that but now you don’t have to be in the pilot seat to control the ship at all. While on autopilot, you can now explore the ship even when it’s moving.

Planets will automatically render once you get close enough to them. To make the journey even smoother, you can use the Black Loading Screen Remover. As of now, the mod only works between planets and their moons, but this will expand further very soon.

Other exciting Starfield mods

Fans have been showing their immense talent since the official modding support in the game. One fan even made the game run at 120 FPS on the Xbox Series S, which even the developers couldn’t manage to do. The game goes past 30 FPS only on PC; on consoles, it’s capped at 30 FPS only.

But with this mod, you can now enjoy the game at 120 FPS. But there is a catch. To reach this high framerate, the game has to sacrifice its graphical textures along with its visual quality. And it’s quite understandable. Now, players have to choose between these two: high framerate or graphical fidelity.

Another mode that has caught the eye of the fan is the “Useful Brigs” mod. With this, you can capture knocked-out enemy NPCs, arrest them, and store them on the brig of the spaceship. You can even sell them to appropriate factions, like the skilled bounty hunter of slavers, and get a heavy ransom.

Starfield has become more exciting with these incredible mods. The Astrogate mod has relieved fans of the concern of the annoying loading screen.
