Valorant has amassed a huge fan base since its launch. One of the many reasons for the game’s huge success is its diverse agent roster. As of now, there are a total of 25 characters available.

These characters are divided into four different agent classes: duelists, senators, controllers, and initiators. Despite the recent arrival of Clove as the latest agent in the game in March, fans can’t keep calm to see who the new agent is.

In the end of the Abyss trailer, we have seen some sort of cryo chamber where creatures might be preserved. Its hands were later seen to be moving. On the other hand, we can see some metallic vines piercing through the ground in the Episode 9 trailer.

The interesting part is that we have seen these vines in some splash art for the new episode as well, but this time with a galaxy behind them. Now, these galaxy backdrops don’t really fit with the current episode’s theme or any aspect of the current game.

So, it might well be a teaser for the upcoming agent. Another intricate voice line from Skye in the Hourglass base sparks excitement as well. She mentions the plants at the base and says, “These plants aren’t indigenous to our earth.” It now clearly shows that the upcoming agent might be a plantlike structure but won’t be an inhabitant of Earth.

What Do the Leaks Suggest About the New Agent?

In the recent Episode 9 Act 1 battle pass, we got new skins, bundles, gun buddies, and more, but somehow we got something else, which well might be a teaser for the next agent. There is a new player card in the battle pass titled “In Bloom,”  which is kind of intriguing, featuring a silver and purple flower along with a smattering of vines and thorns.

There is also a rose symbol on the metal wall behind it, with smaller roses hanging from the thorns. Credible Valorant leaker @ValorLeaks has shared an image of the player card and stated this as the teaser of the next agent. Also, he mentioned the codename of the agent is going to be “SilverThumb.”

This new interesting player card also brings up some scenes from the Episode 9 Act 1 trailer. There are some metal vines creep through the ground, passing by some broken electronics.

There are high chance that this new agent might be a Sentinel, as the last two released agents were a Duelist and a Controller (Iso and Clove). As of now, there is no confirmation about this agent, as these are all mere speculations and leaks.
