Steve Carell’s choice of the ultimate ‘rizz’ king of Hollywood might hurt some Tom Holland fans. The 28-year-old actor will probably be jealous of 43-year-old Ryan Gosling, who earned the title from Carell. Gosling and Carell earlier worked together in the romantic comedy film, Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Carell is currently riding high on the big theatrical debut of his film Despicable Me 4. He voiced the role of Felonius Gru in the Despicable Me franchise.
Steve Carell Calls Ryan Gosling The ‘Rizz’ King
Steve Carell learned a new Gen Z slang word and he knew exactly whom to apply it to. In a fun interview with IGV Presents to promote Despicable Me 4, Carell learned the word “rizz” which is the shortened version of the word ‘Charisma’.
The Office actor didn’t know about ‘rizz’ but he apparently knew something about the word ‘riz’. He joked that ‘riz’ was the sound made by a rollerblade screeching to a stop. Jokes apart, Carell believed that the word was apt to describe one of his co-stars.
Carell and Ryan Gosling starred in Crazy, Stupid, Love and had a fun time together. During the interview, Carell called Gosling the rizz king and shared that he would sometimes call the Barbie actor ‘Rizz Gosling’. Carell concluded that Gosling was the epitome of rizz in the industry. Carell shared with IGV Presents:
Maybe the rizz king, and I always call him the rizz king, is Ryan Gosling. Sometimes I just call him Rizz Gosling, he is the epitome of rizz.
Carell also shared that he would call another 55-year-old actor to be rizz in Hollywood. Carell’s alternate pick was Paul Rudd, who starred alongside him in The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Both these picks may undermine some of the young stars of the industry, including Tom Holland.
Timothée Chalamet Called Tom Holland ‘The Ultimate Rizz Master’
Tom Holland does not consider himself to be full of rizz as he revealed in an interview with Buzzfeed. He shared that his brother Paddy had more rizz than him. However, his colleagues in the industry don’t think so.
While appearing for a game of Agree to Disagree for LADbible, Timothée Chalamet was posed with a statement that he could agree with, strongly agree with, disagree with, or strongly disagree with. The statement read, “Timothée Chalamet is better-looking than Tom Holland.”
Chalamet strongly disagreed with the idea, sharing that Holland was the ultimate rizz master. He added the internet and Zendaya knows this for a fact. Chalamet shared with LADbible:
Tom is the ultimate rizz master. Internet knows this, Zendaya knows this, everyone knows this.
However, Carell considers neither Holland nor Chalamet as the rizz master. Carell’s Despicable Me 4 is currently running in theaters.
